In two years we will be spectators from one of the grates advances in technology, architecture and design of high-rise buildings. The architect David Fisher was able to create what thousands of architects from all eras dreamed that their buildings could move. And not just the achievement but also could make this not been harmful to the environment
It seems to be the perfect way to build: environment caring, less expensive, self-sustaining in relation to energy and should not be set aside that will never have the same way.
I love to be self-sustaining and to think of the planet, but isn’t it a bit dizzy to live in a department that is always turning? What happens with people (like me) who can not hand or by boat because we get seek whit any kind of movement? There is a building next door that is 10 times more expensive, who spends a lot of energy and that is not so nice for people like myself who do not tolerate that our house was in constantly moving...

I love the idea, but it is unfortunate for people like me who do not may stay in, but you can only see shapes that leaves turn from the outside.

mi favorite novel

Mi favorite novel it’s “Mi planta de Naranja Lima”. The writer is Jose Mauro De Vasconcelos. I read it when I was 15 years old and it’s makes me think a lot.

The novel is a autobiography about how mature and passes from childhood to be an adult from traumatic events for the small age protagonist.

The story is about the adventures of a Brazilian child name Zeze that tried to live in the middle of the favelas conflict in Bangu – Brazil. With a very strict father, a mother almost absent and a lot of brothers and sisters, he must survive from the circus of his live

I love this book because a simple reading would make us think that the child receives punishment for his pranks, but see the environment in which grows helps to understand that violence it receives from their families is just the eco of a larger violence in different kinds.

The magic and fantasy of Zeze playing with his five years old brother Joseph, create a parallel world full o heroes and colors that makes you feel full of excitement and emotion contrasting with the sadness to read about child abuse and family violence.

Victory City comment

In the class the teacher made us reed an article that you can find here http://www.victorycities.com/
It’s about a space to live, eat, work, etc… everything in the same space and with the same people.
Wile I was reading I remember the movie “Metropolis” or the book “Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley and I wander How many times have we seen people doing impossible things to create an inexistent“perfect world”?
Some people believe that creating “perfect spaces” the entire humanity will change and we will live in a perfect world full of happiness and good feelings… The problem is that we are not just animals in some different spaces; I believe that the most important part to get this “perfect world or microworld” is starting to change the human thoughts and reevaluate all our real needs and what we really want for a place to live.
If we saw the project Victory City we can see more than a perfect place to live, just the ego of someone that want to be like a God or something and just want to “play” whit bigger toys than the ones that sell in the store. We must remember that this is not a government project, it’s a particular project created for someone that not necessarily knows the people needs.
I think that we must not create a new space to live; we must take care of the entire world and believe in a magical union between every person in the planet.
